Obituary for Donat Thibodeau

1925 – 2020
Donat J. Thibodeau Age 94 recited in Dieppe formerly of St. Norbert, has peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, February 13th, 2020.

Donat is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Edna (Chevarie); eight children, Emile (Aurore), Placide (Louise), Stella Thibodeau–Roy (Renald), Leandre, Yvette Surette (Don), Yvon (Karen), Jeannette Thibodeau (Gilbert), Janice Brian (John); 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister Laura (late Tommy), and Brother Ernest (Anita).

Donat was predeceased by his four Brothers Elie, Emile, Antoine, Placide as well as his two sisters Diana and Aurore.

Resting at Fair Haven there will be public visitation held on Monday, February 17th from 1:00pm–3:00pm. A service to celebrate Donat’s life will follow the visitation at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Fair Haven. Reception will follow the service in the Garden View Reception room, private interment will be held at a later date.
