Obituary for Ella Mary Robichaud

It is with appreciation for a life well lived that the family announces that Ella Mary (Burbridge) Robichaud has gone to join her husband Jules Robichaud in heaven on February 14, 2020. Born on January 1, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Lydia (Ferguson) Burbridge.

Ella was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was dedicated to her faith and the needs of her family and others. Family, neighbours and friends will miss her dearly.

Ella will be lovingly remembered by her children: Doris (Don) Dickson, Jacqueline (Ken) Chorley, Jeannette (Jim) Shannon, Alphonse (Tania) Robichaud, Jimmy (Debbie) Robichaud, Paul (Donna) Robichaud, Donna (Chris) Hodd, Kevin (Carey) Robichaud and Denise Robichaud; sisters Margaret Noel, Martha Smythe, and Rita Savoy; brothers-in-law: Peter Robichaud, Phillippe (Melanie) Robichaud, and Stanisclas Robichaud; sister-in-law: Florine Robichaud; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, Ella was predeceased by her children: Patricia, Douglas and Peter Robichaud; and siblings: Edward Burbridge, Nancy Monzerolle, Agnes Witzell, Theresa Burbridge, Bernard Burbridge, and William Burbridge.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) there will be visiting on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM, and Monday, February 17, 2020 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Redeemer Parish on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11 AM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Donations can be made to the Fundy Chapter of Special Olympics and online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
