Obituary for Elizabeth MacDougall

Elizabeth M. MacDougall, 91, of Penobsquis, and formerly of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Born in Crow Harbour, NB she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth (Munn) Justason.

Elizabeth was a graduate of the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She was a Registered Nurse at The Moncton Hospital for over 21 years. Upon retirement she enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her daughter, Diane of Penobsquis, and daughter in law, Sharon; grandson, James; as well as her extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, J. Carman MacDougall; son, Colin; and brothers, Colin and Ian.

No Visitation Hours or Funeral Service by personal request. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) have been entrusted with arrangements.

In memory of Elizabeth, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared through the Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
