Obituary for Marion Sweezey

April 9, 1943 – February 10, 2020
Marion Mary Sweezey, age 76 of Miramichi (former Village of Loggieville), passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, N.B, she was the daughter of the late Leo (Fabian) and Laura (Robichaud) McGrath.

She is survived by her husband Roland Sweezey, daughter: Maureen Hannan (Brian of Miramichi) son: Darren (Debbie of Brampton, Ont.) Grandchildren: Lindsey, Brandon and Jamie. Marion is also survived by her brother Eldon McGrath (Judy) and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her brother Raymond and sister Elsie and two infant sisters.

Marion Mary Sweezey will be resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi, N.B on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Saint Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Loggieville, N.B, with Father Paul Doucette officiating. Pallbearers are: Raymond McGrath, Randy McGrath, Andrew Waring, Shannon O’Neill, Frankie Robichaud, and Paul Robichaud. Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi, N.B.
