Obituary for Valerie Cormier

Valerie Cormier of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 86. Born on June 1, 1933 in La Hêtriere, he was the son of the late Ovila and Lorette (Leger) Cormier.

He was a taxi driver in Toronto until his retirement.

He will be sadly missed by his step-sons, Camille and Edgar Fougère, step-grandchildren, one sister, Germaine (late Yvon) Cormier of Gayton’s, two brothers, Yvon (Aline) Cormier of Memramcook Lake and Neri (Carol) Cormier of Old Shediac Rd and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, six sisters, Corinne, Doris, Huberte, Lorette, Ella and Anita and two brothers, Laurie and Emile.

Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday, February 25 from 2 to 4 pm followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery.
