Obituary for Lionel Gould

Lionel R. Gould, 77, son of Edgar and Elise Gould, Moncton, NB.

He is survived by two sisters Janice Gould (late Bill Gould) Pointe du Chene, NB, and Debbie (late Horst Schlingloff) Port Charlotte, Florida, One brother Raymond Gould, Tilbury, Ont, son Kevin and daughter Sharon. Rachel Mongeau was a long close friend to Lionel whom he cared for before her passing in 2016.

Lionel worked for Courier Press of Westford, Mass. as a proof reader for 22 years until two years ago.

He loved golfing with brother Ray, even while neither one were any good at this game, but fun was always in tune, every time. HE followed his favourite tv show Blue Bloods for 11 years, Also a big Patriots fan. Oh what a team to pick. A Fitchburg "St Joseph's Club" member for years.

Resting at Isabelle and Anderson Funeral Home 316 Claredon st, Fitchburg, Mass. Celebration of Life from the funeral home, at 11 AM on Friday, February 21, 2020.

The family cannot end this message without mentioning our dear friend to Lionel, Karen Lussier of Fitchburg, who cared for Lionel since the beginning of his illness. Was our corresponding contact on how Lionel was doing all while we lived so far apart. Took care of son Kevin and daughter Sharon at the same time. We've been very lucky to have Karen living so close to Lionel. Thank you Karen.

Our brother will be missed. Love you brother, Janice, Debbie and Ray.
