Obituary for Robert Burns

Robert Murray Burns, 82, of Riverview, NB, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, with his loving wife Laura at his side. Robert was born in Upham, NB on June 21, 1937 to the late Margaret (nee Dyker) and Murray Burns.

In addition to his wife Laura he is survived by daughter Norma Jean Jarvis (Aube), step–daughters Kim Swift, Susan Little (Malcolm) and Jodi Dupuis. He is also survived by his five siblings, Noreen Davidson (late George), Ruby Ayres (Chris), Judy Lackie (late Wendell), Ina Armstrong (Norman) and Frederick Chestnut (Barbara). He was also blessed with and survived by many nieces, nephews, step–grandchildren, Sarah, Jenna, Victoria, Nicholas, Matthew, Julia and Lauren and his furry companion Lilly.

He was predeceased by his first wife Maria.

A special thank you to Serge Dupuis at this emotional time.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home and Crematorium, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, NB 506–857–8564. Service to be held Monday, February 24 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association.
