Obituary for Ann Robinson

It is with sadness, yet appreciation for a life well lived, that the family of Ann Muriel Robinson, announces her passing that occurred on Friday February 21, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 6, 1929 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (McMennamin) Atkinson and wife of the late Arthur Robinson.

Ann had a passion for curling and was past member of Hampton Curling Club and various other curling clubs and was a member of the NB curling executive. She enjoyed puzzles and playing cards with friends at Osaekeg Place.

She is survived by her sons David (Wanda) of Hampton and Michael (Jill) of Saint John; grandchildren Gregory (Shivani), Matthew (Jennifer), Andrew (Maryse), Rebekah (Chris), Corey (Jen), Nicholas and Kaitlyn; great–grandchildren Brooke, Claire, Ava, Logan, Bentley, Benjamin and Lyla; sister–in–law Edith MacDonald; several nieces and nephews. Ann was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother James and John, sisters Mary Melvin, Gloria Young and Nora Arsenault and granddaughter Marcia.

Special thanks to the staff of 4BN and 5CS for the amazing care given to Ann.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Sunday February 23, 2020 from 2 to 6 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday February 24, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
