Obituary for Rosemary Lompierz

The passing of Rosemary Josephine Lompierz of Fredericton, NB, wife of Jerzy Aleksander Lompierz, occurred on February 21, 2020 at Eden’s Retirement Villa. Born on March 10, 1932 in Semiwagon Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Josephine C. (MacDonald) Bohan.

Rosemary worked briefly in clerical and secretarial positions. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church and was a faithful sacristan at the church for many years.

Rosemary is survived by her sisters, Catherine Sullivan of Saint John, Ann Daley (Thomas) of Semiwagon Ridge, Pauline Cormier of Fredericton; brothers, Peter Bohan (Shirley) of Miramichi, Harold Bohan (Greta) of Maple Ridge, Lawrence Bohan (Josephine) of Sudbury, ON, Wilfred Bohan of Miramichi; sister-in-law, Shelia Bohan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Hilda Halavrezos, Sister Lawrence Joseph "Eileen", Mary Bohan, Dorothy Szrejer, Sister Barbara Bohan; brothers, Edward Bohan, Earl Bohan; sister-in-law, Catherine Crosbie; brothers-in-law, Raymond Cormier, Nickolas Halavrezos, Victor Szrejer and Dennis Sullivan.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 130 Crocket St., Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:30 am celebrated by Rev. Dr. Michael McGowan. Interment will be in St Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
