Obituary for Marie-Anne Lavoie

1946 - 2020
Marie-Anne Lavoie passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on February 21, 2020, at the age of 73. Born in Adamsville, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Bertha Williams.

Marie-Anne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alyre; her daughters, Linda (Paul), Diane (Leonard), Bernice; granddaughter, Melissa (Yves); siblings, Camille (Rose) Williams, Francis (Noella) Williams. She will also be missed by her special Aunt, Della LeBlanc, her nieces and nephews as well as her feline companion, Oreo.

In addition to her parents, Marie-Anne was predeceased by her brother Billy Williams.

The Family wish to thank the staff of the Dumont Hospital, ICU and Palliative Care Unit 3-C for the great care and compassion.

A service to Celebrate Marie-Anne’s Life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm with visitation held prior from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment to follow at Fair Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the 3-C Palliative Care Unit at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
