Obituary for Aris Léger

Aris Léger, 62, of Trois–Ruisseaux passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital. He was the son of the late Ulric and Yolaine (Duguay) Léger.

He was an employee of Cap–Pelé Sawmill. He enjoyed his farm, gardening, watching his grandchildren playing hockey and spending quality time with Norma and the family.

He is survived by his spouse, Norma Doiron; his children: Lyne (Michel) of Ste–Marie–de–Kent and Manuel (Sophie) of Grand–Barachois; two sisters: Jeannette Surette (Réginald) of Grand–Barachois and Hélène Caissie (Ronnie) of Trois–Ruisseaux; seven brothers: Émerie (Phyllis) of Riverview, Yves (Thérèse) of Grand–Barachois, Léo (Alphonsine) of Grand–Barachois, Louis, Paul et Omer (Jacinthe) all of Trois–Ruisseaux and Roger (Denise) of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Patrick, Marco, Alex, Alyssa and Yannick also his dog, Buddy.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé on Friday, February 28th from 7 pm to 9 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am till time of departure 10:15 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste. Thérèse d’Avila R. C. church, 2646 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 10:30 am.

He was predeceased by a sister–in–law, Rosella (2012), an infant Doiron–Léger (2013) and nephew, Allain (2015).

In memory of Aris, a contribution to Fondation Maurice Léger or Pépére Boîte à Lunch would be appreciated.
