Obituary for Jeanne LeBlanc

1918 – 2020
Jeanne LeBlanc, 101, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Dr. Georges–L.– Dumont University Hospital Centre, with her son, Gerald, by her side. Jeanne and Oscar spent early retirement years traveling to visit their daughter and grandchildren in: Winnipeg, MB; Ottawa, ON and Montreal, QC, as well as a few trips to Florida.

Jeanne is survived by one son: Gerald (Andrea) of Dieppe; two daughters: Dorine (Bernie Richard) of Shediac and Rose Marie (Blayne Burns) of Kanata ON; six grandchildren: Daniel (Meghan); Monique; Eugene; Nicole (Barry Hendrickson); Jessica and Michael; three nephews: Aldoria Theriault; Gaston Theriault, both of Paquetteville, NB and Jean–Guy Boudreau of Montreal, QC and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Oscar LeBlanc, September 28, 1998, her parents Aldelard and Alvina (Landry) Boudreau, four brothers: Emerile; Emery; Medore; Thiburse and two sisters: Ida (Alphonse Theriault) and Dorina. Jeanne was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

At the family’s request no visitation, a private family service.

The family would like to thank the Moncton Residence, the Victoria wing staff and the Palliative Care Nurses and doctors at the Georges Dumont Hospital, who provided dignity and made her last three days peaceful and comfortable.

Interment at Notre–Dame–du–Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.Donations to the CHUDUMONT Foundation would be appreciated.
