Obituary for Michele Meade

It is with sad hearts that the family of Michele Lynn Meade announce her passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, March 6, 2020. Born in Bathurst, NB on April 9, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Aurele and Christina June (Vaughan) Boudreau.

Michele was Roman Catholic by faith and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, in Lincoln, NB. She was very active in her church especially in the music ministry, and with the Sunday School Department. Michele was a lover of music, and an accomplished Folk musician, singer and songwriter. Michele was a published author, and could often be found in the kitchen, cooking or baking one of her signature dishes.

Michele will be lovingly remembered as a fantastic wife, mother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 39 years, David and their children, Andrew Meade (Holly Price) and Kelsey Meade. She is survived by four siblings, George Boudreau (Kathleen), Rhonda Boudreau-Kaye (Robert), Monique Boudreau-Reid (Richard) and Karla Boudreau-Campbell (Dan). She will be greatly missed by the many members of the Meade family and a host of friends.

A time of visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lincoln, NB on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11 AM. Father Charles Udeh will officiate. Interment will be at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank or Meals on Wheels. Online condolences may be left at www.oromoctofh.com
