Obituary for Vivian Ozark

The passing of Vivian Ozark of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late A. S "Bud" Ozark occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at York Care Centre, they are now together forever. Born on December 20, 1929 in St. John's, NL, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Reid) Jones.

Vivian was known as "the sweetest person you would ever know". She loved to keep busy by knitting, quilting and going to yard sales. She enjoy swimming; travelling with her husband who was the International Director of Canada for The Lions Club, she was also a Lioness. Vivian was always up for a good game of cards.

Vivian is survived by her son, A. S. "Buddy" Ozark (Tracy) of Fredericton, NB; grandson, Colin Ozark of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Audrey Blackwelder-Parsley of Florida, Frances Dunphy of Newfoundland; brother, John Jones of Alberta; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Vivian was predeceased by her daughter, Heather Lee Ozark; sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Mildred Gray, Marjorie Gosse and Louise Anthony.

Interment will take place in Forest Glenn Cemetery, Perth-Andover at a later date.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to York Care Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
