Obituary for Christine Crawford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Ann (Machum) Crawford on April 6, 2020 at the Loch Lomond Village with her loving husband, William Crawford, by her side. She was born in Central Greenwich, NB on May 19, 1942 to the late Cecil and Eliza (Balmer) Machum.

Ann was an Accounting Clerk with the City of Saint John for many years. Over the course of their 45 year marriage, Ann and Bill enjoyed travelling together and often spent parts of their winters down south.

In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by her children, Jonathan (Louise) Brown and Tanya Brown Clark; special grandson, Brandon Clark; brother, Kenneth Machum; sisters, Elizabeth Fleming (Joe Breault), Harriet Tracy and Ruth (Bob) Jennings; sister-in-law, Norma Machum; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Alexander, Randy, and Terry Machum.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Due to the ongoing COVID–19 pandemic, service dates and times are to be determined.

For those who wish, donations in Ann’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family. To place an online condolence, please visit www.fundyfuneralhome.com
