Obituary for Willard Glendenning

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Willard Glendenning 68, of Jardineville at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Friday, August 28, 2020. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Lester Glendenning and late Isla (Stothart) Glendenning.

Willard was an avid poker player and he loved to go hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was employed in the automotive industry most of his life working at Lousbury's, Mazerolle Auto Parts and Kent Auto Parts.

Willard will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Jackie (Blanchard) Glendenning; two sons, Jason Glendenning (Dawn), Mark Glendenning (Annie) all of Jardineville and two grandsons, Ethan and Landon that were his pride and joy. Willard is also survived by one sister, Joyce Wood (Allie) of South Branch; one niece and two nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his extended family "The Blanchard Family" that were very important to him, many cousins and especially his cousin Frank Weatherbie.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm (only). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew's United Church in Rexton. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252).
