Obituary for Ronald Dupuis

Ronald Dupuis of Memramcook-East passed away on September 25, 2020 at the CHU Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont at the age of 88. Born in Memramcook-East on March 1, 1932, he was the son of the late Willie and Bella (LeBlanc) Dupuis.

He worked for 22 years until his retirement at the Correctional Service of Canada. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Memramcook-East and was also treasurer for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carmélice, two daughters, Denise (Robert Bourque) Dupuis of Toronto, Monique (Jean-Pierre) Anglehart of St-Joseph, three sons, Danny (Renette), Charles (Marise) and Marc (Danielle) all of Memramcook-East, 13 grandchildren, Stéphanie (Justin) Babineau, Dominique (Danny) Bourgeois, Christian (Lucie) Dupuis, Pascale Dupuis, Véronique (Raymond) Dupuis, Gabriel Dupuis, Natacha Anglehart (Amy), Martin Anglehart, Sébastien, Jenika, Alexa, Amélie Dupuis and Jessy Hamill, three great-grandchildren, Emerik, Isaac and Jade and by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by eight sisters, Elizabeth, Osithe (Russel) Shea, Lorraine (Gérard) Therrien, Léona (Philippe) Gaudet, Marie (Willie) Bourgeois, Dorine (infant) Dorice (Alphonse) Gaudet and Delia and by five brothers, Rodolphe (Anita), Alverie (Aline), Alyre, Willie (Anna) and William (infant).

Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday, September 28 from 2 to 4 pm only. There will be a private funeral service held at a later date. Interment will be held in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes parish cemetery, Memramcook-East. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
