Obituary for Marie Frampton

It is with sadness that the family of Marie Rachel (Samms) Frampton announces her passing at home on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the age of 82. Born in Codroy, NL, on November 7, 1937, she was the wife of Aloysius "Wish" Frampton of Lincoln, NB.

In addition to her husband, Wish, Marie leaves behind her children, Florence Casselman (Malcolm) of Kingston, ON, Sharon Gee (Peter) of Lincoln, NB, Dianne Lee (Gerard) of Dartmouth, NS, John Frampton (Karen) of Fredericton, NB, and Gail Brown (Phil) of Burtt's Corner, NB; grandchildren, Marcie, Melinda, Dwight, Sara, Zachary, Lucas, Samantha, and Jamie; great grandchildren, Morrgan, Ryder, Tyler, and Victoria. Marie was predeceased by her parents and her 9 brothers and sisters. Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Marie will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. They will miss hearing her talk about all the jiggies and doohickeys she couldn't quite remember the name for. She loved to read, play cards, and square dance.

A visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. A memorial mass for family and invited guests only will be celebrated from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11:00 am with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. A livestream of the service will be available to view at https://vimeo.com/469052753. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory can be made to the IWK or a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be made at www.oromoctofh.com.
