Grandma V. (My Hero.. My Savor)... I mowed your yard today, pulled weeds and raked. Yes.. I cleaned the mower to keep it looking nice! Just as you always asked. Something was missing tho... you were not sitting in your chair outside watching me, and the cool wet wash cloth you would put on the back of my neck to keep me cool wasnt there."And you saying Ang.. take a break And after the work was done you saying" Go get a beer... and we drank it! I'll never forget the last words you said to me on Tuesday night.. "You know what?, I said I know what.. And you said" I love you!.. and I said I love you more..and I will be up wednesday to mow, and then we will go to sub-way... you said; That sounds okay! All the fun times and the long talks we had together will never ever be forgotten. Everyone including you said; I'm just like you and I told you.. I'm darn proud of that, you were the apple of my eye, the breath in my lungs.. I know you were tired and I know you are in a much better place and someday you will be waiting for me at those shinny white gates with flowers in hand. I feel like I have lost a part of me, there is a big hole inside, filled with alot of hurt, but you would not want that for me you always told me I need to be strong and take care of my boys! Never did you want anyone fussing over you... I promise I will make sure the yard is mowed, the flowers are watered I have the birds I will take good care of them for you.. as I know they were special to you. I'm gonna miss the Sat- trips to the banks, the trips to the grocery store and the driving around looking at flowers...and the phone calls everyday and the visits on the front porch... but I will go on as you want me to but know No one will ever fill that very special place in my heart as you did. I love you more.... Ang
