A Very Good Man

My Uncle George was most kind. He came to the rescue of my mother and me when we were stranded in Baltimore, MD as a result of our car battery dying and the car not working. My mom called him from a pay phone and gave him markers of where we were since there were not signs and no cell phones in the early 1980's when this happened. We then went to his home, and he and my Aunt Norma were most kind with their love and hospitality given. Also, Uncle George and Aunt Norma regularly came to visit my parents and family in McAdoo, PA, where he and my father grew up picking coal and blueberries as children. Their visits were always calming for my parents especially, and also left us all with good memories and peace. How good a person he was! How calming an influence my Aunt Norma was as well for him. Truly he is with God.
