Memories Of My Brother

John and I had many happy and fun times together playing hockey and baseball in the Courtland Ave school yard, but it wasn't always "Brotherly Love." John and I would have many fisticuffs, when the little guy would go crying hime crying to Mommy, guess who got the crap from Mom - poor John.

John always found a way to play hockey - even at night when no one was allowed on the rink and it was dark. I asked him, "how will we be able to see the puck?" "Well" he said "there is a fuse box there and the custodian removes the fuse, but he doesnt lock the box, so I will put a penny in the box in place of the fuse, and we have light" Talk about livig dangerously!

John probably got his love of fishing from our Dad, as he would take John and I fishing in Goderich for perch many times.
