Cheryl Johnson
Amy and I met at the U of I. I enjoyed her lively engagement in women's rights and many talks about teaching. We loved the classroom and her life in academe. We lost touch over the years and she moved away. She talked about her daughter and grandchildren a lot--always updating me when we talked on the phone. She grieved for her son. I felt she fought the good fight, always trying to make the best of her life, wherever she landed. An activist in the best sense of the word. Blessings and Love, all-ways.
