Memories with Linda

Linda and I were neighbors on Windsor Lane, Janesville, WI.  Many cups of coffee were shared at each others' homes and always goodies at Linda's but she would have to bring hers over to my house as my cupboard was bare unless my daughter, Laurie had done some baking. A favorite memory with my husband and me was Linda's daily sweeping of her driveway. Our families did some things together such as visit the lake cottage and the men went to Buck's games.  Linda was my go to person for attending concerts and arts things. There were 6 of us women who played tennis together and went out for lunch.  However, we always had to be back in time to feed her minature dachshound and let it out.  Al shoveled a path for it in the snow of the backyard so it could go down to the trees to do its business. There was a big hole in my heart when they moved to Minneapolis but Terry and I did visit them there and also later on when they moved to San Antonia.

Love you, Linda

Carol
