I remember the 1st time i met Mr. Curley. He had a great handshake and welcoming smile. As i got to know him i thought he was the smartest man i ever met. He showed me how to gut a house and the reasons for "this and that". He explained engineering and was to design houses, building etc.
He had a great hearty laugh that made you want to laugh too.. I remember when he asked me and Ed to help fix the boat. A disaster! But had some great laughs. If you could have seen us..
Anyway i'vebeen talking about Mr.Curley the last couple of days. to friends of mine. One of them eats fiddleheads and dandelion greens. I never met anyone who eats those except Mr.Curley!! They're disgusting.. Then yesterday i was talking about my son Patrik and Ed and again about Mr.curley. i decided to google the name Curley. It was w/shock and great sadness to see that Mr.Curley's obituary had been posted 3 hours earlier. I think or maybe i hope that someothing let me know.
I will always remember him as a gentle giant..I am thankful that i had a chance to know him and be a part of his family. He will be missed but the memories will remain.
