My brothers and sister were not my playmates but they are my family.
When I was ten years old, Junior stopped at my home in Aylmer, Ontario, parking his big truck on the street outside our home. He was on his way to Windsor with a delivery and had stopped to say hello to our Mother. I was there listening to their conversation and when it came time for him to leave he asked if I wanted to go for a ride. WOW! I would not only get to ride in a transport truck but with my brother. How high up it felt to sit there with him. On return he dropped me back off home and said a quick goodbye to our mother. I don't remember our conversation on this journey but I still to this day remember that feeling.
It's funny the small things you remember that are important. My older brother, me and his truck.
I know in my heart that our Mother is once again glad to see him.
love Linda
