The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jo Dickerson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

14 Years in HopkinsCounty

When I graduated with Jo Beth in 1963, my entire life was laid out with with optimism. Little did I know that the world had different plans for me. Moving from Sulphur Springs to the RGV of Texas, made my home closer to to the Rio Grande river than when I was commuting to East Texas State for my degree. Still full of friends where I lived, good friends from years ago rermained in my memory. Jo Beth happened to marry one of my friends. Jack was a mentor to me in all type of valuable experiences. I have regarded them with highest acclaim. When a 50th Class Reunion arrived, We wanted so much to attend. Distance intervened! II felt my story of the 14 years there needed to be told. Jo Beth offered to display the text at the occassion. She place it in the local library. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my special angel who is looking down on my family as well as her own.
