Sharon Ann  Bodily
Sharon Ann Bodily, of Provo, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 74. She was surrounded by immediate family members, close friends and loving caregivers. Sharon’s passing was intimate and peaceful. Born January 23, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA, she is the eldest child of David Cook Bodily and Lorna Anna Poulson Bodily of Arcadia, CA.

Sharon graduated from Arcadia High School and Brigham Young University with a dual major of Chemistry and Home economics and a minor in English Education. She is survived by her sister Carolyn (Craig) Raymond of Provo, and her brother William David (Janet Harper) Bodily of Provo. Sharon made her family her highest priority. In addition, she had many nieces and nephews and their families that she adored.

With her love of literature, she taught AP English for over 30 years and was well loved by her students and respected by her colleagues.

She enjoyed gardening, and flowers, loved to read and travel and enjoyed being with friends and family. She loved holidays, birthdays and special occasions and could be counted on to give beautifully wrapped packages with exquisite ribbons and bows.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a niece Tarah Marie Raymond and many family pets.

She had a great personality, a terrific sense of humor and a tender compassionate heart. She truly loved her fur babies - the most recent Gracie and Beau who often became the subject of her lesson plans - An active member of the LDS Church, where she served in numerous capacities in all the organizations.

Funeral services will be held, Monday 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo, 4780 N. University Ave., Interment will take place immediately after services at East Lawn Memorial Hills, 4800 N. 650 E., Provo. To send condolences to the family visit www.NelsonMortuary.com
