The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dr. William Mariani can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Daniel Rasinski AKA Dongie

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Mariani, Debbie, Marcia, Mara, Bill Jr. and the family. When I was a kid we lived on Warsaw St, a predominantly Polish neighborhood. At around age 7 we moved to Meadowbrook which had a wide mixture of nationalities and I went to McKinley School with Bill and lived around the corner from him. One day I was playing at his house and his mother asked me if I wanted to stay for supper. Silly question right. Supper time came and she put this stuff out on the table that I never seen before and didn't know what to do so I watched what they did and got the hang of it. I even liked it. When I got home my mother asked me what I had to eat and I tried explaining it to her because I still didn't know what it was, My Polish mother didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about so she called Mrs. Mariani and asked her what I ate. It was spaghetti and just about every time I make it, I remember that day I had spaghetti for the first time!!! Now every time I have spaghetti I will remember the friendship Bill and I had. Rest in Peace Bill.
