The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Cosentino can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The Helping Hand

One day, while driving down Prospect Road, with myself riding shotgun in my little Kia, John noticed a guy with a broken down car and a gas can.  He pulled up to this perfect stranger; pushed his stalled car with him into a safe place off the street, and drove the man and his gas can to a gas station so he could fill the gas can; and then drove him back to his car, once the mission was completed.  The man he helped tried to give John a $10.00 bill, but he refused it.

This is just one of many things I watched my boyfriend do over three years I was lucky enough to know him.

John had so many good friends in his life.  The all have stories of kindness and laughter, and they have been sharing them with me over the past weeks.
