Obituary for Tobey Max Huckabee

Tobey Max  Huckabee
Tobey Max Huckabee, 74, of Cane Hill, Arkansas, went to his glory on October 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1943 in Ralls, Texas to Roy Huckabee and Veda Alston. In 1963, Tobey married the love of his life, Rosa Lee Bontke. He was a long time business owner in Dumas, Texas where he was an irrigation specialist. He was also a minister and missionary for 42 years, touching thousands of lives.

Tobey is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Huckabee and Veda (McMillan) Alston; and his brother, Joe Huckabee.

Left to cherish Tobey’s memory are his wife, Rosa Lee Huckabee of Cane Hill; a daughter, Darlene Smith and husband Patrick of Cane Hill; a son, Justin Huckabee of Cane Hill; and Shannen Huckabee of Morrow; grandchildren, Scott Darnell and Yonnie Lucas, Kelsey Smith, Hannah Huckabee and Max Huckabee; and great grandson, Jake Darnell.
Tobey was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved to go fishing, camping and travel. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 10 at Faith Covenant Church in Prairie Grove.
