Laura Ellon Thomason went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2017 at the age of 70. She was born on September 19, 1947 the oldest of six children. She loved her brothers and sister very much as they held a special place in her heart.
in the early 80's, she challenged the Board and took the test to receive her LVN License which was one of her proudest accomplishments. She worked in area hospitals and convalescent homes where she cared for her patients in a loving way. So, of course she was very proud of her nieces Becky and Cindy when they chose to follow in her footsteps and become nurses themselves. Both were there to take such good care of her in that same loving way those last few days of her journey.
Her other great pride, and sometimes pain, were her three sons whom she loved more than anything!
She leaves behind her sons Richard, Anthony and Curtis Archuleta as well as grandchildren Courtney, Anthony Jr, Taylor and Tori Archuleta and adopted grandsons Steven and Michael Cardwell.
She is survived by brother Don Thomason--who for the last 10 years had been her strong tower and support in every area of her life--brother Larry Thomason, sister Terry Thomason and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Howard Thomason and Christine Stephens, brother Tim and sister Tamara.
Ellon had a great love for her family and friends. She was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts.
