The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Hildegard Johnston can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Hildegard. She had such an impact on my life. I was talking to her on the phone one day. I had just finished up one job and was looking for another. Hildegard said you are so smart...you should go to college. She told me about the PACE program at Trinity College where Michell was going. No one had ever suggested that college was something I could do. In 1991 I graduated from Trinity with honors. All due to a suggestion from Hildegard. I know she will be so missed by her family. You will all be good n my thoughts and prayers.
