I was the youngest of 6 children and Ollie was my oldest sister. I was about 6 or 7 when Ollie went to Edmonton to study to be a nurse. One of my fondest memories was when Ollie, now a registered nurse, would come every weekend to visit us in Mundare. We always had a special routine for Saturday night. She would send me to the store to buy a 6 pack of Kik Cola before the football game. We would then drink pop and listen to the Eskimo football game on the radio. I still have the radio that my Dad had. During the game she would get very animated, especialy when Edmonton would score.
Ollie will always be in my thoughts and memories. She was a dedicatedand caring nurse. But she would always be a special sister and I cherish the many visits I had with her over the years.
