The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peter Harper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Lorraine, Peter, Jr., Lynn Ann and the entire Harper Family—We were all terribly sorry to hear about Peter’s passing just last night and wish we could have attended the services this morning. Peter will be missed dearly by all that he touched, and his kindness and friendship touched many, including everyone of our family members. Mariann now has her favorite PPV resident to enjoy the beach with her again eternally. We have all lost a great friend and role model and we hope, knowing how widely respected and loved your husband and father was, will help ease your loss and, in time, help you all fully appreciate his lasting legacy of generosity, love and concern for others.
