The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Quinn can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Never too Old to Party

What a character my Uncle Jack (his Irish relatives always called him Jack).  My favourite story took place at Derek's wedding in New York.  Derek is Jack's grandnephew.

Jack was in his 80's back then and insisted on visiting all the other celebrations going on i.e. the Class of '60 and partied along with everyone.  He was still dancing into the wee hours of the morning.  He truly was the life and soul of the party and young people loved being around him.

Who can also forget the amazing hospitality Kathleen and him showed everyone at their home in College Point, everything from his famous whisky sours to the delicious food.

Old Irish Goodbye................May you always have............

Walls for the winds, A roof for the rain, Tea beside the fire, Laughter to cheer you and your beloved Kathleen near you.
