My Very Dear Maggie, my former prayer partner who became a best friend. I so cherish the time we had together. While my heart aches, I also rejoice that you are free of illness and pain. I am so very grateful to your wonderful Wisconsin family who lavished support and love upon you and to your faithful, loving Beth who was with you until the end.

Maggie's smile would fill my heart - she was a cheerful and positive soul that made those around her feel her joy and contentment. She will be missed!

Maggie was one of the first at Lake Merritt UMC to make me feel welcome. It was a great pleasure getting to know her better when we were in the same small group at church. I've missed her since she left California. It was an honor to knowing her.

Dearest Maggie,
We hit it off right away when you came to Lake Merritt UMC. We shared humor as well as sadness, and we had a great time talking about our Lutheran backgrounds. You reveled in experiencing a wide variety of folks when you worked events at LMUMC. I was sad to see you leave to Wisconsin, but am grateful for the love and care you received there. Your light is already missed, but I am so happy that you are free from the toll your body has taken over the years. Please greet Violet on the other side. Much love to your family and friends.
