Teri Wiley

My name is Teri and I'm one of Troy's oldest friends. We grew up together in Quail Valley. We were like brother and sister's in a way. When we were young, we did a lot together like hang out and play "king of the mountain" and slam each other off the bed! Pat was a part of our small neighborhood friendship. THEY were brothers. They of course had different parents but they were truly close. Pat would always be there when Mr. Viser or Troy needed help. They even prayed together. I loved them all. Troy, Opal his mother and Mr. Viser. And Pat. We often hit the town in one of his many catalacs. I loved how he would dab a little cologne on a tissue and shove it in his catalac airvents and make his car smell oh so wonderful! I have so many memories....one evening he called crying because his beautiful mother had died in the hospital. It was so sad. But we stayed up crying together and talking for a while until he was consoled just enough to get some sleep. We grew up down the street from each other. Opal would bake all sorts of Christmas cookies for Christmas starting 2 months before hand. She too was an Angel. She loved her gardens and often would take my daughter,Brittany and plant flowers. I was fortunate enough to get her famous and most desired deviled egg recipe! It's no wonder Troy had a big heart. So kind. Thanksgiving before he died I was traveling to visit my daughter and I called him. He was always so cheerful even when he was I'll. He bragged, not in a boastful way, about how everyone loved this recipe and how alot of his many friends wanted it and he was going to give it to me. I felt special. Yes, Brittany and I made the eggs and they were truly the best on the land. We now make them at every special occasion in honor of Troy and Opal. I miss his laugh, his voice his friendship. He had a unique eye for antiques and beautiful treasures. God bless you Troy. May you find peace in our Lords arms. You are now with your beloved mother and father and Jimmyjohn too. Pray for us who are still here in this world that we may all be together one day in heaven.
