Dear Elwin, I was so sad to learn of Mildred's passing. I have many warm memories of my visits with her to talk of her family history of her grandfather, Fay Noble, of the US Life-Saving Service and Coast Guard. I so enjoyed our discussions of our families, and life, and will always remember the warm hospitality of you both. Mildred was such a kind & generous person, and I'm so grateful for all she shared with me, but most especially sharing herself!
My condolences also go out to all the girls of 3 generations now, and all family members. Though I never met you, your mother was always updating me when I visited, and showing me the latest photos.
