The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Cooley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Gene Braun

Ken was born and died on a Tuesday. The rhyme says “Tuesday’s child is full of grace”. That sounds right because Ken was a minister at some time before he became a teacher. I don’t remember some of the many other things he was and did in his life but there were many. He’d dredge one of them up if the discussion gave him the opportunity. I still can’t quite see him as a short-order cook. He was a good guy and I’m grateful that I was allowed to join the gang of retirees (Old Crows) that he acted as organizer for. (A picture of the gang is somewhere else on this memorial page.)
