Mom, from the first day I knocked on your door to meet you prior to my first date with Tina, to your last day in this world standing at your bedside, you made me feel like I was family. I cannot express how much your wisdom and love through the years helped guide me and influence my life. I will miss you terribly, but I am so happy that you are with Jesus knowing that "when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be". Our hearts will grieve for a time, but with great anticipation we look forward to the day we will see you again in heaven. It was my privilege to call you mom.
