Corinne was my best friend when we were kids. There was no one who could make me laugh more, there was no one who could make me laugh harder. Our families have been friends since 1971 when my parents moved into the house across the back alley from Paul and Dianna. Corinne and I literally grew up together - if I wasn't at her house, she was over at mine. Corinne and I made so many great memories growing up in our neighborhood: playing soccer at the schoolgrounds, running to 7-11 to buy hockey cards for 25 cents a pack, playing tennis at the Queen E courts, celebrating the Oilers of the 80's (Corinne had a giant crush on Mark Messier!), walking to school at St Cecilia, playing Donkey Kong on Corinne's new Collecovision video game set, listening to Nestor Pistor albums on Paul and Dianna's stereo in their livingroom or Corinne's Juice Newton records in her room…..the list goes on and on. I haven't lived in Edmonton for over 25 years now, but when Corinne and I saw each other, it 's like our friendship just picked up where we left off and the best part of that friendship was the laughter. I'm really going to miss that happy, positive attitude, the terrific smile, and that fantastic laugh. Paul and Dianna, you really raised a great person! Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire Svitich family. Rest in peace, my friend! Barb, Andy, and Sarah Nagel, along with the rest of the Fursiewicz family
