So sad to see this. I first met AJ early 1981 upon my first posting to Greenwood where I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with for a couple of years and again in Edmonton in the late 80's. I always considered him as a invaluable mentor, colleague and friend. When AJ introduced himself he normally did so by stating this quote " AJ Day from Newfoundland". Shirley, my deepest condolences to you and all family and friends.
