At our age of eight years old Mark told me he was gonna grow up and be the Chief of Police in Fruitland Park, the wonderful place we were ever so privileged to grow up together. I am certainly blessed and honoured to call Mark my friend. How many people do you know that know what they want to be at the age of eight and actually accomplish that dream?! I was in a terrible car accident as a passenger in 1984 on the highway in Fruitland Park. Mark arrived on the scene first, administered CPR and kept me alive until the ambulance arrived. I had gone through the windshield and was loosing my life. He also called my Mom and comforted her as well. I owe my life to you Mark! A debt I can certainly never repay. Thank you Mark for literally saving my life! I will always love and miss you my dear friend. My sincere condolences to Dena and the entire Isom family.
