Obituary for Calvin Ingraham

Calvin Ingraham passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on October 17, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Calvin was born in 1957 at Temperance Vale, NB, a son of Ronald and Maxine (Trecartin) Ingraham.

Calvin was a master carpenter who was involved in building many homes. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t make with wood. He loved bowling in alleys all over the province. He enjoyed a good card game and hosted many card parties. Fiddleheading in the spring was a great pastime of his. Most important was spending time with those he loved, his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Lake (Johnny) and Craig Ingraham (Anne–Marie), both of Dawson Creek, BC; three grandsons, Hunter and Gage Lake and Ethan Ingraham; two granddaughters, Taylor and Emma Ingraham; his parents, Ronald and Maxine of Upper Caverhill, NB; a brother, Clinton Ingraham, Upper Caverhill, NB; two sisters, Janet Caldwell (Paul), Woodstock, NB and Jean Murray (Richard), Centreville, NB; his mother–in–law, Marjorie Christie, Temperance Vale, NB; several brothers and sisters–in–law in the Christie family; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calvin was predeceased by his wife, Mary–Ann Ingraham; a granddaughter, Lily–Ann Lake and his father–in–law, Robert Christie.

Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mary Taylor officiating.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Calvin, the family has suggested Autism Canada. www.flewellingswan.com
