Obituary for Winston Thompson

Winston Eugene Thompson of Lakeville Corner, New Brunswick, passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was the son of the late Lorne and Lillian Thompson.

Survived by his wife Judith (Middleton) and daughter Katherine (Trevor) Williams all of Lakeville Corner; son Michael (Susan) of Quispamsis; granddaughter Courtney MacDonald of Halifax; grandson Connor Orsava of Quispamsis; sister Lorna (Willard) Sypher of Marysville; brother Frank Atyeo of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews.

Winston was an active member of the New Brunswick Crime Stoppers, holding the positions of Director at Large, Promotions Director, Past President of the Grand Lake and Area Crime Stoppers and a member of the Lakeville Corner United Church. Winston spent 39 years on PEI where he was a prominent business man, owner of W.J. Enterprises Inc., General Contractor.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Byno Cemetery or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online remembrances may be left at www.oromoctofh.com
