Obituary for Gordon Moore

It is with sadness to announce the passing of Gordon Reid Moore, which occurred due to a house fire, on April 12, 2019 in Midland, NB, that also claimed the life of his beloved wife Linda Joanne (Murdie) Moore. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Reginald and Muriel (Reid) Moore.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sister Olga B. Moore.

Gordon and Linda moved to Midland 13 years ago and enjoyed the solitude and peace of nature. Gordon worked for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs for many years.

Survived by his son Alexander Moore; daughter Crista McNulty (Sean); grandchildren Kaylen-Elizabeth and Sadie; and brother Michael Moore.

A Celebration of Gordon and Linda’s lives will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Reception Centre, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
