Obituary for Earle Stevens

1932 - 2019
Earle Stevens, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2019. Born in Carsonville, NB, Earle was the son of the late James and Elsie Stevens.

Earle is survived by his children, Paul (Carol), and Jean (Marty) Cormier, Karen (Marty) Stewart, Judy (Don) Smal, Christopher (Shelley), Robert (Martha); 18 grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Jamie, Alex, Michael, Katie, Adam, Thomas, Evan, Leah, Daniel, Erin, Jonathan, Timothy, Beth, Hannah, Jane and Jake; and four great-grandchildren, Kate, Alex, Laurie and June. He will also be missed by his siblings, Lucy Lisson, Verner and Donnie Stevens and by his dear friend, Annette LeBlanc.

In addition to his parents, Earle was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn; brothers, Sydney, and Leslie, sisters, Kathleen, Betty, Mildred, and granddaughter Laura.

Earle was happiest outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp. He will be lovingly remembered for his good advice, calm presence and devotion to his family and church.

Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on June 18, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment at Fair Haven Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Burton, Dr. Searle and Dr. Ojah, the Extra Mural Driscoll Unit, the staff at People’s Park Tower and a heartful thank you to Paulette and Joanie.

If desired, memorial donations in Earle’s memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
