Obituary for Pierre Belanger

Pierre L. Belanger passed away peacefully at Faubourg de Mascaret on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Born in Ottawa, ON, son of the late Lorenzo and Victoria Belanger.

Pierre was the last surviving member of his immediate family , he will be sadly missed by his sons; André, Philip, Paul, Denis and Edward, and daughter Joan; grandchildren: Alex, Natalie, Jennifer, Christian, Seana, Melodie, Eric, Lauren, Claude, François, Daniel; great-grandchildren: Annika, Julien, Gabrielle, Jacob, Ethan, Olivia, Liam, Mikaiah, Aodhan, Joran; as well as many nieces, nephews.

Pierre was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Lilian.

Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:50 pm with the ceremony at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel followed by the Interment to be held in Fair Haven Cemetery and the celebration of his life in the Garden View Reception Room thereafter.

Remembrances in Pierre’s memory may be made to the heart and stroke foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
