Obituary for Archie Randall

At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2019, Archie Sylvester Randall of Waasis, passed away at the age of 77. Born in Waasis, NB, he was a son of the late Norman and Amy (Nason) Randall.

Archie, at a young age, worked in the forestry sector. He then moved on to Hartt Shoe Factory and Palmer Shoe Factory. His career then shifted to custodial work at UNB, then UBC, finally at Devon Middle School, where he retired in 1999. He loved travelling, visiting his family in BC, working on cars and attending car shows. Archie was a member of a breakfast club comprised of his school mates from Waasis.

He is survived by three sons Shannon Randall (Marie-Claude Landry) of Rusagonis, Randy Randall of Fredericton and Stephen Randall; friend in life Murielle Couture; a half-brother Glen Briggs (Mary Walker) of Prince George, BC, half-sisters Debbie Audet and Loretta Gibson of BC; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

No visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences can be made through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
