Obituary for Stanley Sharpe

The passing of Stanley Merle Sharpe of Keswick Ridge, NB, husband of Bernice (Richard) Sharpe occurred on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. Born on July 7, 1948 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Merle Sharpe and the late Florence (Jones) Sharpe.

He worked for NB Liquor in the warehouse. Stan enjoyed playing poker with his friends; liked the outdoors, crafts and doing woodworking.

In addition to his wife and father, Stan is survived by fur babies, Taker and Charlee; his sisters, Jocelyn Millican of Fredericton, NB, Katherine Anderson (George) of Keswick, NB and Barbara Hong (Kenn) of Fredericton, NB; two sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his mother, Stan was predeceased by his infant sister and brother; sister-in-law, Leonie Richard; brothers-in-law, David Millican and Paul Richard.

A Graveside Service will take place at Scotch Settlement Cemetery on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Mary Tingley officiating.

Special thank you to Stan’s poker buddies for their support during the last several months, and the staff at Hospice House for their care and compassion given to both Stan and Bernice during his time there.
